Let's be honest. Who doesn't need a break? I know I do and I know you do too. Getting in touch with our inner child helps us relax, release all negative thoughts, and believe in the magic of the Universe.
If you've been in pain for way too long, have been hurt way too many times, and have no idea how to deal with this situation, this post is for you. Reliving the best parts of your childhood will help you feel refreshed. Following is the list of 6 Fun activities that can you can do to get in touch with your inner child.

- Draw & Paint
Engaging in arts and crafts helps us get our creative juices flowing. You don't have to colour or paint Mandalas or Unicorns. Feel free to print out your favourite cartoon images. Draw ice cream cones if you want. Release the fear of judgement. No one else needs to know what you're doing. Children do whatever suits their fancy without any concerns or worries. So should you!
2. Dress up as Cindrella
Dress up as Cinderella or even SnowWhite. Reliving your favourite childhood fantasies will help you feel hopeful no matter what situation you're in. If you've had a traumatic childhood, this activity also gives you a chance to recreate it. Life can be as magical as you want. Just sometimes, we have to create our magic. And, you are more than capable of doing that.
3. Play Online Video Games
This is perhaps the easiest way to heal your inner child. I love playing games on my mobile. They help me release everything that's on my mind and go back to my childhood. Depending upon your age, you might have not had a chance to play online games in your childhood. Why not give yourself one today?
The games I love to play the most are The Palace Hotel and Treasures Of Atlantis. Both of these games can be played on your browser. You don't need to download any extra app on your device.
While The Palace Hotel is a simple "Find The Hidden Object" game, Treasures Of Atlantis is similar to Candy Crush.

The rules of both these games are pretty self-explanatory. Honestly, you don't need to solve crimes while you already have a lot going on in your mind.
4. Go out with a friend
Not everything in life needs to be meaningful and profound. Call a friend and arrange a meetup. Trust me, coffee can be way more relaxing than stimulating when shared with a friend. Perhaps, order a chocolate drink this time to honour your childhood. Or, maybe your favourite snack- the one loaded with sugar and rainbow sprinkles.
5. Sing Your Favourite Song
Children know what they want. Fun! That's it. That's all they care about. If they forget the lyrics of a song, they make up their own version. Why can't we do that without feeling embarrassed? You may not be the best singer on the planet. Neither am I! And, it doesn't matter.

6. Watch TV
Take some time off and watch your favourite cartoons and anime. These shows have a colourful setup and help you get in touch with the child beneath the mask of adulthood we all wear. It's time to take it off and relive the moments of your life.
Life is hectic enough without all the unnecessary pressure we put on ourselves. You don't need to do that.
Bringing our inner child to the surface gives us the strength to overcome all the adversities that life throws at us. Take a day off every once in a while so you can unwind and revitalize.
