Here are my favourite quick and easy handmade cards for the festive season.
You can grab a pack of 10 blank cards from craft shops/Poundland for a pound, then all you need is some buttons, paper scraps, black sharpie, nail polishes, glitter and some time to have fun.
First up, my favourite of the four as it so so simple. Glue your chosen buttons to the card and add strings and bows – I used black sharpie to turn them into hanging baubles. If you have lots of cards to make this can be turned around in under 2 minutes.
Keeping with the bauble theme, I made bauble with various paper scraps instead of buttons. To cut the circles I used circle cutter and stuck them down with PVA, then use a fine permanent marker for the detailing.
One thing to remember is to use thick paper, I imagine handmade paper would work the best as you can see in image above mine shows glue – I used thin origami paper.
Next, using a big button and a silver permanent marker/pen draw a snowflake. This takes the prize for world’s quickest and simplest card to make.
Last and final design is the one using nail polishes. Just create rectangles/fun design with various nail polishes.
Which one is your favourite design? Do you have any other great ideas for Christmas cards?
P.S. I know this is too late to post handmade cards, considering Christmas is in two days but this was sitting in my drafts folder and I forgot to publish it!.
