I have been creating an intention card daily for 2 weeks and thought it would be good to share an update on how I decorated these.
|Day 1 – 11/11
Materials Used Watercolours and quote written with Sakura Pigma Micron.
|Day 2 – 12/11
Materials used – pencil colours, magazine cutout and Sakura black pen. This was an important day at work where a big project was being put live – I think this was very appropriate.
|Day 3 – 13/11
Materials Used: an old map and hand lettering with calligraphy pen.I made this while listening to Tara Swiger podcast which is called Explore Your Enthusiasm!
|Day 4 – 14/11
Materials used: Watercolours and quote written with Sakura pen.
|Day 5 – 15/11
Materials Used: Magazine cutout and a wooden button.I was overwhelmed with a long list (none of which was urgent!) and zero motivation so I decided to make this to remind me that it’s OK to relax, take it easy and do nothing.
|Day 6 – 16/11
Materials Used: Quilling strips, label maker (tape), magazine cut out.I made this to remind myself that perfection is not the goal (at least for me) because it doesn’t exist. It is a relative term and I am perfectly happy with done and imperfect.
|Day 7 – 17/11
Materials Used: Magazine cutout, white pencil colour and gold marker pen. This one is my favourite from week 1 and 2 cards. It looks like saying yes is becoming my mantra and I love it!
Materials Used: Acrylic colours, canvas sheet and a black gel pen.I you know me personally, you know I have a very little risk appetite (I have a list of things I go though for taking decisions! – more on that later) but learning this has been liberating.
Materials Used: Nail polished for marbling, scrapbook paper and a sharpie.I had thought maybe I had hit the messy middle of the project when I created this 😉
materials used: label maker, magazine cut outs.I am my no. 1 priority. Though it might sound selfish but have learnt this (the hard way).
Materials used: canvas sheet, acrylic colour.Going back to one of the goals of starting the project – to be more observant – I created this.
Materials used: marcrame knotted cord, label maker, calligraphy pen, pencil colours.I made this when I had 12 items on the to-do list and the energy to do it…
Materials used: sharpie, canvas, acrylic colours.Continuing from day 12…
Materials Used: decorative tape, magazine cut out, self Adhesive Stick Gems.I think this should be mantra of life and not for a day nonetheless it was fun to practice it for a day (mainly making part!)
It has been so much fun and I think I will continue this for another 2 weeks.
Separately, I want to get to know you…if you have 30 seconds to spare I will hugely appreciate if you could fill this reader survey.
